Meeting a top 100 author

He only wrote 8 novels, not including the collection of short stories, and yet his '80s vision of virtual reality, biotechnology and internet crime in one book was enough to get him listed. I think I've plugged him before, but this time, he came to Evanston to sign his latest book! So I took Owen, and my '94 copy of Neuromancer, to meet him. Unfortunately, he didn't look up in time for the photo, so this is the best we've got.

Sam,
That's so cool. I think I told you that you were my inspiration to go buy Neuromancer and read it. I did, and a lot of it was over my head, but the storyline that I did catch was great. Cool that you got to meet Mr. Gibson.

Oh, and great pics of Owen - keep posting them, please.

Hope your summer is going well.

Take care, brother!
